SKIN BOOSTERS

Skin boosters involve injecting pure, stabilized hyaluronic acid into the skin over 2 or 3 treatments, 4 weeks apart, using only 5 injection points on each side of the face. Unlike traditional fillers, skin boosters act as hydrators by dispersing quickly just under the skin's surface, stimulating collagen and elastin production for a youthful, plump appearance. This treatment can be used alone or in conjunction with other dermal fillers, providing a holistic approach to skin revitalisation, and results can last from 6 to 12 months. We use Profhilo® to achieve an airbrushed skin effect for individuals of various age groups, especially among those aged 30 and above. If you are dissatisfied with skin laxity, exhibiting characteristics like crêpey or thin skin, along with visible signs of aging such as fine lines and wrinkles, Profhilo® may be a suitable option for you.

ASSESSMENT

This includes a consultation with our team. Discussion of what you are concerned about and looking for. Then medical history and consent form completion.

TREATMENT

The procedure lasts 20-30 minutes. Topical local anaesthetic cream is applied 15 minutes prior to starting.

As a result there is very little discomfort.

RECOVERY

The majority of people require no downtime following these procedures and can return to work and normal activities the same day. Some minimal swelling and bruising may occur, lasting a few days.

RESULT

Results are seen immediately after treatment, with further improvements over 7 days as the booster integrates and hydrates the area. Results can be expected to last 8-12 months.
